Serves as a key resource for internal and external counsel regarding matters involving the Nuveen registered fund complex. Administers a number of contractual and filing processes required by the 1940 Act. Manages the flow of essential information among different groups within Nuveen and externally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and assisting with filings ofregistration statements, proxy statements, and other filings with the SEC underthe 1940 Act.
Drafts and/or reviews contracts and other legal documents under attorneysupervision. Coordinates the finalization and storage (physical and electronic)of such documents.
Champions excellent understanding of applicable practice areas, as wellas federal and state regulatory issues / processes, to provide efficient andaccurate paralegal services; identifies and implements enhancements to areaprocesses.
Assigned workon an end-to-end project basis.
Serves asliaison with assigned business areas and/or outside vendors in coordinating andmanaging projects / requests
Stays currentand may coach others on 1940 Act best practices and trends
May attendindustry seminars, forums and conferences
Communicatesrelevant information to team
Worksindependently with outside counsel.
- 5+ yearsof paralegal experience
Bachelor’sor JD Degree
3+ yearsof experience working with the 1940 Act
10+ yearsof paralegal experience
Stronganalytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
