KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
TIAA is seeking a Business Manager. This position will report to the Leader of the Business & Strategy Enablement at TIAA within the IT Business Office. The Business Manager will support key business management functions for the Client Services & Technology (CS&T) organization and the Nuveen Technology-Operations (NTOP) & Global Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) organizations. The position offers business support to ensure it is operating effectively and efficiently. The role will leverage transformation expertise and program management acumen, and the ability to work in cross-functional groups to ensure deliverables and goals are met while aligning to and supporting the goals and expectations of the IT Business Office.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Ensuring the strategies, management and oversight to communications and meeting coordination, training needs, financials & employee resources
Will partner with other business owners and senior leaders across the various organizations to ensure deliverables, data, reports, and special requests are met appropriately and timely
Will utilize analytical skills, analysis, and in some cases be asked to proactively identify connection points across projects and businesses as well as engage in the execution of the problem
Can create executive materials for operational reviews, business reviews and board reviews as needed

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to include ability to analyze data, as well as position for effective decision making by cross-functional senior leadership teams
Proven leadership abilities including ability to share knowledge, resolve conflicts, and create consensus
Demonstrated experience with organizing, directing, and managing the activities of multiple projects ranging from small to large in complexity in scope
Ability to align stakeholders with different objectives to meet common goals
Strong written and presentation skills
Ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences

Minimum Pay: $82,980.00
