Info Systems Engineer

Automation Engineers (Network) are hybrid software/network engineers who ensure that Company's network and related services run smoothly and have the capacity for future growth. Data Analytics, network (re)design, and automation are keys to meeting the company's demands; candidate will be responsible for conceiving, developing, and deploying software and network systems and tools that improve reliability and efficiency in our global network.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Experience coding with at least one of the following development languages; Python, C++, Go, Ansible, YAML, JSON

  • Experience in configuration and maintenance of at least one of the following network devices; NMS systems, Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, load balancers, or routers/switches

  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders, addresses stakeholder requirements and providing clients consultations to shape the future success of EA.

  • Providing EA support by directing teams in baseline, target and roadmap development, transition planning, system and security management and segment architecture.

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role is located at our TIAA office in Los Angeles, CA, ­­­­Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL but will be currently remote.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 10 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW Microsoft Active Directory Engineer

Role Summary:

This position requires a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Candidates must have a very strong background in Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, and related technologies and possess detailed working knowledge as deployed in a mission-critical, multi-site enterprise environment.


Develop and enhance enterprise Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory engineering standards for a multi-site organization, including operating system and authentication protocols.

Strong knowledge of LDAP and Kerberos

Develop technical partnerships with key support, architecture, and operations teams

Diagnose Windows Server platform issues in complex, business-critical environments.

Provide 3rd-level support for an enterprise-wide Microsoft Windows distributed server platform, including related technologies such as IIS, Clustering, etc.

Design and architect new systems and enhancements to existing infrastructure

Produce basic project plans, root cause analysis documents and report on progress to management.

Required Skills:

10+ years hands on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and related technologies, preferably in an engineering (vs. system administration) capacity, including design of infrastructure and integration into new and existing systems

5+ years of functional Engineering group experience, preferably in the financial services sector

Desired Skills:

Excellent conceptual and analytical skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Automation and scripting skills, including PowerShell experience

Experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Connect as it relates to Office 365 and Azure

Able to produce detailed technical documentation and server architecture diagrams

Adherence to corporate standards/problem and change management policies

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required • Professional certifications

Minimum Pay: $95.40
