TIAA CW Digital Copywriter in Virtual, Florida

As a part of TIAA’s Financial Solutions business, TIAA Bank, a division of TIAA, FSB, provides full-service, nationwide banking and lending services to consumer, commercial and institutional clients through a variety of channels, including online, its Florida-based financial centers and at other business offices throughout the country.

Summary:

The Digital Copywriter will work in tandem with design, UX, development and product teams to bring first-class digital experiences to life. Responsibilities include writing purposeful and actionable content, along with the ability to present clear rationales for creative recommendations based on brand guidance, business objectives, target audience and current best practices.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Write content for all related financial digital properties, including but not limited to websites, applications and digital tools.

  • Collaborate with designers to develop and execute concepts that creatively bring our brand to life, with a voice and message that are powerfully and consistently communicated.

  • Develop content within timelines, budget and project requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners.

  • Edit and proofread new content with a keen attention to detail.

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role is located on our TIAA office in Jacksonville, FL currently remote.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 24 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

Knowledge, skills and abilities requirements

• Must have strong initiative and work ethic to meet critical project deadlines

• Organizational and time management skills to complete multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to set timelines and budgets

• Ability to take complex tasks and create simple and clean solutions

• Mastery of the written English language and grammar

• Extensive knowledge and experience writing for the web and/or other digital properties

•Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative creative environment

•Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients

• Strong experience collaborating with designers during various phases of content development

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of relevant writing experience and bachelor’s degree in a related field

DESIRED SKILLS

• Experience writing for financial services or other regulated industries

• Knowledge of emerging trends for content distribution
