TIAA IRA Trust Administrator in ST. LOUIS, Missouri

JOB SUMMARY:

The Trust Administrator is accountable for the complete administration of IRA accounts and providing quality service to clients. Service is provided in a team-based environment and primary contact is via telephone with remote clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain compliance on individual retirement accounts and provide guidance to clients and administrators in the applicable legal requirements of IRA plans

  • Work in a team environment to provide high levels of service to clients and support to Trust Administrators, Portfolio Managers, or Wealth Advisors who may be acting as a Relationship Manager

  • Respond to inbound calls from clients and resolve inquiries or requests related to their IRAs

  • Initiate processing of account transactions and provide necessary oversight of all account activity

  • Review, interpret, and implement policies and procedures within compliance and departmental guidelines

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent client service skills via telephone

  • Knowledge of IRA administration and related legal requirements for these accounts

  • Detail orientated

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Three (3) years of client and account management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CISP preferred
