Nuveen is seeking a Lead Application Developer for their platform development and support team. This role will lead the development of new shared technology capabilities across the organization in our hybrid cloud environment while assisting with the support, maintenance, and roadmaps strategy of existing capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Assist architecture team with new platform evaluations
Lead setup and implementation of new platforms and manage coordination with required teams to enable execution
Lead maintenance activities for existing platforms including disaster recovery testing, platform version upgrades, and security treatment plan tracking and management
Manage tasks using agile tools and methodologies
Assist in the development of application roadmaps for core platforms
Automate core processes to streamline platform usage
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an Information Technology role
Minimum of 3 years developing and maintaining platforms
Experience developing and supporting core technologies including API platforms, Managed File Transfer, Batch Scheduling, Messaging Platforms, and Data Integration Tools
Experience developing containerized solutions leveraging Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with automated deployment methodologies
AWS cloud certification at the associate or professional level.
