As a Director for Nuveen’sQuantitative Strategies team you will have the opportunity toarchitect and influence the direction of our quantitative research. Partnering with Portfolio Managers, key stakeholders and technology, you will lead in the identification, planning, and prioritization processes that will drive high-level functional concepts from roadmaps through proof-of-concepts to production. Your role will be engaged in theresearch associated with quantitative and index strategies that span global public markets in fixed income, equity, and responsible investment.
Research new ideas to enhance existing quantitativemulti-factor stock selection models.
Work with Quantitative Portfolio Managers to enhance allfacets of their strategies from alpha models, risk management, portfolioconstruction, trading to performance attribution and reporting.
Manage and enhance the quantitative investmentinfrastructure
Bachelor’sdegree required; master’s degree orPhD in a technicalfield of study such as computer science, computational linguistics, statistics,mathematics,or engineering preferred
Five or more years of fixed income or equityquantitative research experience
Experience working withartificial intelligence and machine learningwithnatural language processingpreferred
Excellentclient-relationship management, communication, networking and influencingskills
Self-motivated with strongproject management and analytical capabilities
