Senior Support Analyst

Provides solutions for IT and business management on applying technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Participating in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements.

  • Monitoring client experiences and feedback on the use of business applications; Enhancing system productivity, as needed.

  • Providing senior level consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.

  • Analyzing, defining and documenting clients requirements, and revising existing systems logic challenges, as necessary.

Provide 24 X 7 support for secure web application / Lead outage calls and provide recovery methods to Operations Command Center.

  • Essentially required:

  • Experience insupportingweb based enterprise applications using J2ee frameworks like Spring, Struts2.0etc.

  • Experience in driving production issue calls with multiple partners.

  • Experience indriving end to end RCA calls and report submission of the same.

  • Skills of debugging/reverse engineering to troubleshoot and problem solving

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Support external clients by resolving their issues using incident management

  • On a monthly basis, fix and implement code defects and small enhancements on the Web

  • Support infrastructure needs - Provide testing support and expertise on any changes related to infrastructure, as well as reviewing all changes that are being made within the Web space

  • Help project teams with defining and designing switching mechanism for their application and thus making them highly available

  • Work closely with Infrastructure team in defining monitoring needs for the Web applications.

  • Experience in Java Development with experience in analysis, design, implementation and testing of Java/J2ee applications in financial industry

  • Expertise in core java concepts like collections, exception handling, multi-threading and Java I/O

  • .Hands on experience in creating robust GUI using HTML/HTML5, JS, Jquery, Angular.js, JSON and AJAX

  • Excellent knowledge of XML, XSL, XML parsers, SOAP, UDDI and WAP

  • Experience in using Splunk, interpreting data from Enterprise service bus, Tea Leaf, Dynatrace/Gomez is a must to have.

  • Well conversant with containerization of apps /Kuberenetes, Docker etc.

  • Awarenessabout Public Cloud offering and Cloud services
