TIAA Analyst in Pune, India

Network Security Engineer

The Network Security Engineer supports the development and management of network security systems. Under close supervision, this job assists with the management, designing and testing of company networks. This job works to protect the company from unauthorized access, while also assisting in the development of backup systems.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assists with designing and implementing secure operating networks for the company.

  • Participates in vulnerability assessments, malware defense assessments and other common security checks.

  • Documents the potential risk and opportunities of vulnerability of networks.

  • Assists protection efforts against unauthorized access, modification or destruction of company networks.

  • Provides network security access for authorized users.

  • Troubleshoots network security problems and provides suggestions for resolution.

  • Drafts plans for security backup and system disaster recovery.

  • Keeps up-to-date on emerging trends in area of network security systems.

  • University (Degree), Preferred
