Director, Head of Operational Effectiveness, OCAO
This leader must be highly motivated to lead the operational effectiveness team, driving optimal practices around key performance measurement, achieving financial targets, integrated vendor strategy, reporting at various board and enterprise cadences and establishing proactive routines to optimize results. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strong track record of leading high performing teams, strong organizational and delivery skills, the ability to work through ambiguity with intent, the ability to develop collaborative solutions to complex issues and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work with our CS&T and business leaders to represent and effectively communicate CS&T organization successes, challenges and strategic response at board and enterprise cadences.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Accountable for leading and managing CS&T Operational Effectiveness team
Lead the process for Board and enterprise reporting cadences
Develop simplified and proactive routines to drive integrated CS&T fact-based story and analysis of results and strategic response
Enhance CS&T financial and business acumen through effective education series
Create connection between business P&L drivers and CS&T enablement to develop framework to make more integrated and valuable decisions with key business and CS&T partners
Drive practices and processes to achieve financial targets and goals
Leads team of key partners and collaborative liaisons with federated CAO functions and other key stakeholders
Drives CS&T leadership routines intended to enhance integration, collaboration, culture, talent and key results
Define and establish automated solution to measure correlated key indicators to monitor leading and lagging trends around Client Experience, P&L drivers, Risk and Controls, Human Capital, Culture and Talent and Operational Effectiveness
- University (Degree) Preferred
- 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
- Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work
Experience driving automation of reporting processes, introducing robotics/AI to analyze results
Experience managing teams that provide deep analysis around results with ability to look beyond the obvious and be curious about correlation of data and information to drive economic value
Experience managing teams that deploy effective measurement practices and analysis around the impact technology solutions on business results
Experience collaborating with senior peers, stakeholders and partner teams to create alignment and consistency in adoption of key practices
Experience supporting a large geographically dispersed and highly matrixed business organization
Masters’ Degree preferred
Prior experience working and leading teams from top management consulting firm is preferred
Exceptional problem-solving, project management, execution, and change management skills
Very effective verbal and written communication skills to varied audience including board level to front line staff
Highly strategic; innovative thinker, quick study with the high energy and the ability to see and drive bigger picture
Potential Salary: $189,000.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
