This position will be a key player on the Demand Generation team, owning and driving Nuveen’s paid media (programmatic campaigns, display, paid search and paid social) strategy, development, implementation and optimization across multiple platforms.


· Develop and maintain Nuveen’s digital display and paid media advertising strategy

· Traffic all creative messaging that Nuveen has in-market, including banners, videos, native advertisements, and dynamic offer messaging

· Establish best practices around programmatic marketing internally including campaign management, optimization, reporting, cross-functional collaboration and vendor/partner management

· Work with analytics team to aggregate reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Track goals and metrics for measuring and benchmarking efforts

· Exposure / working knowledge of platforms' current and future ad capabilities (bidding and optimizations), including but not limited to: DV360, Campaign Manager, SA360, Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

· Execute and oversee day-to-day media campaign execution, reporting, and analysis, including:

o Programmatic / Display

§ Campaign management and execution in Google’s digital advertising platforms, spanning paid search, social, and programmatic media

§ Manage PMP and private deals across partners

§ Develop new strategy ideas for existing and net new campaigns

o Paid search and social

§ Help develop, optimize, and maintain paid search and paid social campaigns; including but not limited to campaign set-up, keyword development, ad copy creation & testing, account set-up, organization and restricting, bid and budget management, A/B testing and retargeting

§ Daily campaign & budget management including optimizations

§ Monitor daily searches on high priority keywords (i.e. focus funds, lead terms, etc.)

§ Responsible for all basic tactical execution and campaign audits - implementing Q/A best practices in daily tasks

o General responsibilities:

§ Monitor search/social media and competitive landscape to help drive our paid strategy to achieve client/follower acquisition, positive engagement with our brand, and traffic/conversions on the site

§ Participate in the compliance review and archive process


Required Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Minimum 5 years of digital advertising experience, whether at an agency, end brand, or technology platform

Preferred/Desired Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred

· Experience managing a team of direct reports in the execution of programmatic and paid media campaigns

· Understanding of the industry, inventory and platform landscape - familiarity with the business applications for programmatic/display, search and social media platforms preferred, including; DV360, Campaign Manager, SA360, Google Ads, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, LinkedIn, Instagram and more

· Deep knowledge of key programmatic elements including segmentation, trafficking, tag implementation, A/B testing, auto-optimization, cross-device integration, and security

· Adept at managing a range of campaigns across different products, budgets, and target audiences

· Hands-on experience in multiple programmatic platforms with experience onboarding and training team members on platform fundamentals

· Strong writing skills and creative thinker

· Ability to stay organized and manage time successfully

· Ability to maintain high integrity and confidentiality

· Proficiency in MS-Office Professional: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
