This position will be a key player on the Brand & Demand Generation team, working across creative/design, multimedia, events, social & search, analytics & data strategy functions to help develop, implement, execute and measure strategic marketing campaigns in support of Nuveen’s brand, products and lines of business.


Project Management

  • Help devise integrated marketing campaigns with the aim of building brand awareness, increasing consideration, acquiring and retaining clients

  • Develop standard input briefing process for campaign kickoffs among involved parties

  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns

  • Help coordinate the work of internal partners, designers and copywriters

  • Develop, edit and proofread copy across various campaign components

  • Work with compliance partners to review and approve campaign creative

  • Establish organized system/structure around shared file access across working teams


  • Develop reporting standard for end-to-end documentation of campaigns, from strategic planning through execution and post-mortem analytics

  • Deliver regular reports of campaign results to business partners, including analytics and KPIs

  • Liaise with media organizations and outside advertising professionals, vendors as needed

Research & Measurement

  • Interpret data to help evaluate success of existing campaigns, inform new campaigns

  • Keep abreast of current trends in marketing as well as competitive activity in the financial vertical

  • Help support market research efforts to inform success measures

  • Maintain an eye to budget and report any overspend



  • Bachelor's degree; emphasis on marketing, advertising, communications or business preferred

  • Minimum of two years of marketing experience


  • Preferably 3-5 years of advertising experience, whether at an agency, end brand or other platform

  • Financial services/asset management experience is strongly preferred

  • Understanding of traditional B2B (business to business) marketing campaigns

  • Motivated self-starter; inquisitive and enthusiastic to learn, grow in role

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to think creatively and bring new ideas

  • Budget management skills, proficiency with numbers

  • Ability to maintain high integrity and confidentiality

  • Proficiency in MS-Office Professional: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
