Asset Management Operations

Operations and Business associates aide in business planning and support programs and activities across the organization ensuring alignment with business strategy to meet its goals. Associates should have a strong understanding of the asset management business and operational processes to support the formulation, development and execution of strategic and tactical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support leadership in managing the business' relationships with IT, Operations, Compliance, Internal Audit and Risk Management to strengthen controls and processes

  • Execute critical change initiatives and projects that enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business management practices within the assigned area by identifying and planning the execution of best practices

  • Analyze and assess area data and metrics to ensure that it supports strategic decision making and evidences progress against strategic objectives

  • Develop and implement project plans, prepare reports, monitor performance, and plan resource (both physical and human) utilization

  • Develop periodic and ad hoc reports, presentation materials and communications for use in various internal forums and committees

  • Oversee procedures to ensure compliance and risk policies are properly implemented and current

The Asset Management Operations and Business Director will support the investment management business and strategic programs to maintain core capabilities and further organizational goals. Associates must have a strong understanding of the asset management business and underlying operational processes.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support Sr. Operations and Business Manager and Sr. Directors in managing NEFI’s relationships with IT, Operations, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Risk Management, to strengthen controls and processes

• Execute critical operational, business and technology change initiatives and projects that enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business management practices within the assigned area by identifying and planning the execution of best practices

• Analyze and assess area data and metrics to ensure that it supports strategic decision making and evidences progress against strategic objectives

• Develop and implement project plans, prepare reports, monitor performance, and plan resource (both physical and human) utilization

• Drive execution of special projects and own periodic investment oversight reporting that sits out of day-to-day business operations

• Develop periodic and ad hoc reports, presentation materials and communications for use in various internal forums and committees

• Oversee procedures to ensure compliance and risk policies are properly implemented and current

Experience:​

At least 3 years of experience in areas such as operation, financial and strategic planning/implementation and project management - ideally in the investment management industry

5 Years is Preferred

Potential Salary: $112,400.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
