Nuveen Investments Business Management Analyst in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg

The Business Management Analyst will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the Nuveen Alternatives Europe Sarl entity in Luxembourg. They will implement and oversee processes, playing a key role in finance oversight and broader business support.

This is a key hire and requires the candidate to engage with directors, key business stakeholders and international colleagues. Nuveen Alternatives Europe Sarl is a strategically important entity for the business and its expected growth should provide further challenge and opportunities in this role.

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Monitor and review the financial statements, accounting and tax reporting as well as regulatory reporting,

  • Review and record invoices as required,

  • Assist on accounting matters (incl. NAV and Valuation validations),

  • Assist on the analysis of Fund’s performance,

  • Ensure internal, regulatory and statutory fillings are made in timely manner,

  • Assist with the oversight and monitoring of the Portfolio Manager activities and preparation of the Portfolio Management reports;

Business support

  • Develops and implements systems and processes to establish and maintain company’s records,

  • Seek ways of improving the way the company operates,

  • Ensure policies and procedures are reviewed on time,

  • Organise meetings (incl. production of minutes), events when required,

  • Build effective and open working relationships with colleagues across the Group and maintain contact data,

  • Participate and present in committees and meetings,

  • Provide support to the team in the preparation of reports and presentations,

  • Assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulation and efficiency,

  • Support the Senior Managers where required,

  • Coordinate the follow-up of action points,

  • Assist with ad hoc projects,

Technical Skills & Experience Required

  • 1-2 years experience in financial services or consulting,

  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Communication, reporting and presentation skills,

  • Fluent in English (oral and written) - another European language is an advantage,
