Equities Sr Research Associate

Working closely with Senior Analysts, you will analyze economic, industry and company data leveraging various valuation techniques. Interact with our portfolio management team, members of the sell side community and senior executives of prospective portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collect, organize and analyze economic, industry and company data and trends that are sourced through various channels, including third-party research firms, interviews with industry sources, internal experts, databases, trade publications and other online sources

  • Update Senior Analysts on how the industries and companies are preforming and how they compete in their markets

  • Create and maintain spreadsheet based financial and valuation models and maintain proprietary databases

  • Prepare research reports and industry presentations and participate in investment projects as assigned.


  • 2 Years Required; 3 Years Preferred

  • University (Degree), Preferred

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of post-bachelor’s work experience in a corporate development role, investment banking Analyst position or at an investment management firm

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance, business or economics

  • Currently pursuing the CFA designation preferred

  • Strong interest in financial markets and learning about the investment process and industry

  • Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity

  • High degree of initiative

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical and financial skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Entrepreneurial individual with ability to be a self-starter and also work well as part of a team


Minimum Pay: $76,500.00
