TIAA Senior Cybersecurity Architect in Jacksonville, Florida

Senior Cybersecurity Architect

The Senior Cybersecurity Architect will be responsible for serving as the touch point for Security with the firm’s overall Architecture group and security solution design services.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop security-specific enterprise reference artifacts (e.g., patterns, roadmaps, threat models etc.)

  • Lead the design effort for security solutions and champion them through the architectural portions of the SDLC process

  • Serve as a security architecture subject matter expert (SME) for the firm

  • Participating in the development of hardware/software/network security procedures and guidelines that support information security policies.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of experience in Information Technology

  • 3 or more years of experience in Cybersecurity

  • 2 or more years of experience with IT Architecture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) degree in computer science, information technology, or related field

  • Knowledge of various platforms (e.g., Windows, Linux, etc.)

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry

  • Experience with risk modeling tools and methodologies

  • Knowledge of various architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, etc.)

  • General information security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.)

  • Technical information security certification (e.g., CCNP, MCSE, MCITP/MCTS, etc.)

  • Ability to communicate technical information in understandable business terms

  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently

  • Excellent judgment and analytical skills

  • Excellent documentation skills

  • Broad technology background

  • Experience working with Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure)

  • Knowledge of modern enterprise and security architectures, their challenges, common approaches to overcome their challenges, and their inherent security strengths and weaknesses

  • Knowledge of various platform security tools (e.g., AV, HIPS, firewalls, DLP, etc.)

  • Knowledge of various networking concepts and devices (e.g., routing, switching, VLANs, etc.)

  • Knowledge of various network security tools (e.g., firewalls, NIPS, WIPS, VPN, DLP, etc.)

  • Knowledge of various databases (e.g., Oracle, MS-SQL, etc.)

  • Knowledge of various database security tools (e.g., activity monitoring, etc.)

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., mobile, cloud, etc.)

Potential Salary: $112,450.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
