TIAA Procurement Coordinator I in Jacksonville, Florida

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Procurement Coordinator I

Negotiates and purchases finished goods and services for a specific product group or type.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Participating in researching and negotiating repetitive purchases. Assisting in preparing formal purchasing documents.

  • Coordinating with suppliers on contracts and reorders of goods and services.

  • Analyzing usage history of goods inventory stock items and, with proper approvals, adjusting ordering requirements.

  • Ensuring the details of purchase transactions are carried out in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

  • 3 Years Required; 5 Years Preferred

  • Vocational and/or Technical Education, Preferred

  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

This position is open across the US and preferred work locations include but not limited to the following: Jacksonville, FL or Charlotte, NC.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of sourcing or procurement experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of sourcing or procurement experience

  • College/University degree

  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Essential Functions:

  • Focus on TIAA Bank contracts to ensure these contracts are managed throughout their lifecycle in the TIAA Sourcing systems of record.

  • Research and negotiate repetitive purchases as well as one-time purchases, mainly for TIAA Bank orders.

  • Identify cost savings and vendor consolidation opportunities with every contract or order processed.

Minimum Pay: $18.17
