TIAA Lending Services Specialist IV in JACKSONVILLE, Florida
As a part of TIAA’s Financial Solutions business, TIAA Bank, a division of TIAA, FSB, provides full-service, nationwide banking and lending services to consumer, commercial and institutional clients through a variety of channels, including online, its Florida-based financial centers and at other business offices throughout the country.
Provides quality assurance and risk control functions for Retail Home Lending, including making underwriting decisions on non-originated loans based on agency guidelines and in compliance with Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and Fair Lending laws, and completing Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data validation.
Reviewand make underwriting decisions on Early Review files based on agencyguidelines and in compliance with ECOA and Fair Lending laws
Reviewand take final action on all files recommended for adverse action by theUnderwriter
Ensuredata accuracy on non-originated loan files for HMDA and Fair Lending reportingpurposes, making updates to the file and Loan Origination Software (LOS) asnecessary
Reviewand respond to monthly Quality Control audits as requested by management
Updatemanagement on any issues or trends
Keepabreast of changes to underwriting/agency guidelines as well as pertinent FederalRegulations such as ECOA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to obtain Adverse Credit Authority (CCA I)within 90 days in the position. Training and testing sponsored by company.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years mortgage industry experience
• Previous relevant regulatory compliance experience required
• Previous underwriting or processing experience
