The Individual Advisory Services (IAS) business is evolving and growing and introducing a significant amount of change that will enable us to remain relevant to our clients and outpace our competitors. We need our Advisory teams to be able to successfully integrate ongoing change into their sales practice, maximize client engagement, and achieve their goals.
The Business Management Specialist plays an important role in achieving these goals, focusing on the portfolio of change and non-change initiatives that impact Individual Advisory Service’s (IAS) front line employees and business. This individual will be responsible for developing the analytics and reporting that help us deepen our understanding of the changes impacting our client facing employees and build the story, with data, of how those changes affect our people and our business.
The Business Management Specialist will: maintain the IAS change portfolio; forecast impacts of change and capacity on the field and business; produce the IAS Change Dashboard; and manage key meeting routines. This individual will engage with business partners across IAS, Retail Financial Services and the Enterprise to understand changes impacting our employees; look at how and where they fall within the sales and practice management processes, and recommend opportunities to improve before a change is implemented. The Business Management Specialist will understand the breadth of things that pull our field employees away from client activity and the depth of what that means for the individual and the business.
Work with TFS PMO and other program resourcesto understand how initiatives impact our employees, their capacity, and timing
Continuously maintain the IAS change portfolio
Prepare monthly IAS change dashboard, regionallevel, and productivity reporting; conduct analysis of time spent in change;develop visualizations, draft materials, and assessment of where to focusleadership
Develop a predictive model and consistentmetric that enables us to assess and prioritize capacity impacts in real-time,creating a more even flow of change going to the field throughout the year
Assess the impact of changes on the sales andpractice management processes, and bring the right people "to thetable" to plan for what needs to be done to minimize risk of overlapsand/or identify process improvements
Manage all of the activities associated withrunning four critical business meetings that enable us to plan for, prioritize,and manage change and capacity impacts on the IAS business
2 – 5 years’ experience
Financial Services background required
Knowledge of change management and/or lean/sixsigma principles, methodologies and tools a plus
Superior knowledge of Microsoft OfficeProducts (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio)
Excel competencies should include VLOOKUPs,PivotTables, as well as additional IF and aggregation functions (SUMIF,COUNTIF, etc.)
Ability to acquire, combine, and analyzecomplex data sets from various sources to generate business insights
Able to provide examples of above technicalskills
Knowledge of Excel macros, Databases, Tableau,SharePoint
SQL a plus
Relationship management: tactful, resolute andcommitted to providing excellent service to IAS business partners
Communication: superior communication skills,both written and verbal; excellent active listening skills
Effective meeting routines: ability to bringpeople together, facilitate dialogue through questions and comments, andprepare partners to present to the IAS audience
