TIAA is seeking a Lead Oracle WebCenter Content Engineer to join our team. This is a critical role in which contributes to the overall success of a content management system for our enterprise. This role can be located in Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Broomfield, CO, Dallas, TX or Raleigh/Durham, NC office.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Oracle WebCenter Sites and Middleware technologies. Additionally, the candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of application hosting technologies such as WebLogic, TomCat, WebSphere and HTTP Webserver platforms such as Apache and Nginx. They should have a good understanding of application technology trends such as Containerization, Microservices and Cloud along with the ability to engineer these solutions in support of our Middleware technology strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Manage and administer the Oracle WebCentersites product and interdependencies
Triage issues impacting the WebCenter siteavailability or functionality to restore optimal service
Perform root cause analysis of problemresulting in customer impact
Work directly with the vendor for solutions toissues and/or product enhancements
Ensure platform is maintained highly availablethrough periodic validation
Maintain optimal monitoring across all componentsof the stack
Develop operational run books for level onesupport teams
Implement WebCenter Site automation whereappropriate to proactively address platform related issues such as space,memory and repeated errors
Facilitate automation for platform provisioningand application change
Work with application teams to limit privilegeaccess to all components of the platform
Maintain the health of the platform by ensuringpatches are applied in a timely fashion
Work with the developers to standardize theWebCenter Sites change migration using source control tools such as GitHub/Artifactoryand migration pipeline such as Electric Cloud or Nolio/Serena
Bachelor’s degree or higher inInformation Systems Management, Information Technology, Computer Science,Business, Management, Engineering, or another related discipline
Minimum of three (3) years’experience leading implementation, integration, and maintenance and operationsof the software system
Knowledge of WebCenter Sitesinstallation on RHEL Linux
Experience implementingor configuring Oracle WebCenter Content platform
Experience with OracleWebCenter administration
Demonstrated proficiencywith MS Office Suite
PreferredQualifications and Certifications:
Extensive experiencewith recent versions of Oracle WebCenter Content (i.e., 12c)
At least three (3) yearsof experience leading and managing tasks for an IT system development projectin the roles of Task Lead or Technical Manager
Experience and/orcertification in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Knowledge ofInfrastructure as code automation technologies (such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef,Terraform)
Possess ApplicationDesign skills – Microservices, REST, JVM (such as Java-Spring, Spring Boot,Hibernate, etc.), NodeJS
Experience with Cloudplatforms such as Amazon Web Service (i.e. S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda,Cloud/Formation, etc.)
Experience withautomation testing: Automated Performance and Regression/Functional testing;
Experience with ContinuousIntegration and Continuous Delivery
Experience with Jenkins,Nexus Artifactory
Experience with APItechnology: MuleSoft Anypoint, IBM Datapower, etc.
Experience with Securitytechnology: PingIdentity products, LDAP Directory, Oauth, and OpenID connect, etc.
