KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Technical Lead Infrastructure
The Technical Lead Infrastructure job manages the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems software and hardware for multi-user server computers. This job meets end user needs by confirming that uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of computers are within established operational guidelines. Under limited supervision, this job manages large-scale projects and is recognized as a subject matter expert in the Technology Infrastructure field. This role uses their knowledge of computer languages and operations to find and fix problems in computer networks, such as network communications errors, storage problems, and malfunctioning server platforms.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and maintain system deployment automation processes to enable teams to deploy, manage, configure, scale and monitor their applications
Build, configure and manage tools for fast and reliable deployments of software utilizing CI/CD pipelines
Integrate infrastructure monitoring documenting Level 1, 2, 3 support criteria/responsibilities
Provide on call rotation and weekend supports when needed
Identify repeatable issues while running in production
Plan, install and test new software releases, server automation, system upgrades and resolve software related problems for both development and production enterprise systems
Support multiple projects by troubleshooting application issues and assisting developers on infrastructure related issues
Proactively detect problems related to Infrastructure services, operations and delivery services, conduct diagnostics, and provide service
Support and facilitate incident and problem management as required
Collaborate and assist other infrastructure teams and development staff with application analysis, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting
Perform change management, configuration, design, and implementation of supported products and systems
Collaborate closely with platform engineering teams to ensure that the designed solution responds to non-functional requirements such as availability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Required:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an IT environment;
Experience in Java based application hosting technologies such as WebLogic, TomCat, Websphere, Oracle Webcenter Sites and HTTP Webserver platforms such as Apache and Nginx.
Preferred:
Ability to exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams.
Experience migrating applications from VM(s) to containers or cloud
Deep understanding of Application and Infrastructure architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability etc
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet and Terraform.
Decision Making: Ability to make clear and consistent decisions using data from multiple stakeholders; ability to take initiative and drive towards desired outcome in a timely and collaborative manner
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Oracle Cloud
Working knowledge of container orchestration software such as Kubernetes, OpenShift
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery: Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, Electric Cloud
Experience with API technology
Developer skills in Java, JavaScript, jQuery, dojo, CSS/HTML, Single Page
Results Orientation: Ability to have a clear and determined focus on getting the job done; proactively taking steps to achieve goals and emphasize action, not simply thinking or planning
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical discipline
Minimum Pay: $85,500.00
