Process & Controls Oversight Analyst II

The Business Operations Analyst is liaison to business partners within the following areas: Internal Audit, Business Continuity, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Outside Consultants and External Auditors

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise wide GRC

  • Hands-on experience working on Visualization tools like Tableau, RPA tools such as Automation anywhere, SQL query to extract data from different databases

  • Develop and produce organizational performance reporting, Identifies and leads cross-departmental improvement efforts

  • Advises executive management and multiple teams, and provides high level consulting and influence on business initiatives

Technology Operations Analyst/Automation

Nuveen is seeking a Technology Operations Analyst/Automation for their Business Operations and Control team. This role with have responsibility for assessing current operational business processes, requirements, deficiencies and re-design business processes to improve efficiency, quality and accuracy of financial transactions, data, and reporting through the utilization of systems to include Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools/technology, and training.

The ideal candidate will have broad experience in business process analysis, streamlining, and automation using RPA tools/technology such as Automation Anywhere, .NET and/or Python. The successful candidate must be proficient in business, financial management, project/cost management, and reporting process flows and data flows. Must be able to assess current business processes, evaluate enabling technology functions and streamline business processes using automation tools and other process innovations to meet requirements, improve operational efficiencies, quality, accuracy, and reduce costs.


  • Assess current operational business processes, requirements, deficiencies and re-design business processes

  • Manage projects and automate processes and create operations dashboards

  • Perform reporting through the utilization of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools/technology and training to assist in the decision making



  • 4+ years relevant professional experience in Process Engineering/Business/Systems Analysis

  • Must be knowledgeable and have hands-on experience with Robotics Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc. to automate business processes

  • 2+ years’ experience developing in Visual Studio suite and proficiency with Python


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline such as MIS, CS, IT, Business Accounting, Finance or other related discipline

  • Ability to support strong collaborative experience working within teams

  • Experience performing work in a customer facing role

  • Possess the ability to analyze, collaborate, organize, and solve problems

  • Familiar with Agile, Lean and Process Improvement Tools

  • Experience working within Microsoft Teams

Potential Salary: $132,000.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
