TIAA Technical Lead in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

POSITION SUMMARY:
The resource will provide technical leadership in the end to end design, development and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products and services. Responsible for meeting development schedules and delivering high quality solutions that meet technical specifications and design requirements. Lead the specification and software design phases of the software development life cycle. May manage the design and implementation of new software development and enhancement efforts and software testing with other technologists.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Design and develop technicalsolutions in web & mobile for contact center and back officeneeds
Responsible for Roadmap,Strategy and Architecture
Responsible for design ofIntegration framework for real-time/batch integration with internalsystems and external cloud apps
Customization of features tomeet business requirements
Responsible for definingpatterns and standards and ensuring that quality and standards areproperly followed
Manage day to day technicalchallenges and communicate to project manager any risks or issuesassociated with the development activities
Assist Program/Project manager withthe estimation of technical timelines and allocation of the technicalresources to specific task
Coordinate coding and unittesting phases of system development and facilitate Code Reviews
Identify opportunities forsystem reuse and system simplification
Communicate Expectations, Rolesand Responsibilities to team members and hold them accountable to meet theexpectations
Collaborate with IT partners todevise capacity plan and ensure appropriate infrastructure for the end toend system delivery
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills:
7+ years of software development and design experience with JAVA and other web application development technologies.
Experience in AWS or Azure, Docker Open shift Containers
Financial Services industry experience
Bachelor’s degree
Desired Skills:
Very strong Web, Mobileand Integration background
Excellent knowledge ofintegration patterns for online apps
Strong background of multiplesuccessful implementations
Strong practical deploymentknowledge of JAVA apps with mulesoft, AWS, Docker,MLP as a plus
Retirement industry experience
