The technical lead is responsible for leading the team in terms of technology through software architecture, framework development and leadership. This person should have the technical know-how to engage in multiple projects with a myriad of front-end and back-end technologies. This person should also show leadership and be able to mentor, motivate and coach junior engineers and developers. They should be accountable for all technical outputs while providing guidance and expertise and continuously looking for opportunities to improve quality and performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Oversee the design, development, and implementation oflarge-scale web applications
Architect end-to-end web solutions
Server and container configuration
Lead, mentor, and coach junior developers
Take ownership of the overall planning and execution ofcomplex technical projects
Build trusted relationships by partnering with peers acrossIT and Business to best achieve priorities and objectives and act as One Team
Increase internal business partnership satisfaction andensure key deliverables are met
Lead problem solving and troubleshooting of software andinterface issues; drive issues to resolution
Write code that meets the highest standards
10 or more years of professional IT experience.
5 or more years experience with Back-end Technologies (ex. php, java,mysql)
5 or more years experience with Front-end Technologies (ex. html, css,sass, js, es6, angular, react)
5 or more years experience with UI Best Practices & Design
3 or more years experience with Performance, Analytics, ADA
3 or years experience with DevOps
Experience in the Financial Services Industry
Experience with Docker and other Container-based technology
