POSITION SUMMARY:

TIAA’s Global Corporate Solutions Team is seeking a Sr. PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Analyst for their Charlotte, NC or Iselin, NJ office. This role will provide full SDLC support for PeopleSoft financial and Supply Chain Application initiative across multiple projects within our enterprise. This position will also provide ERP subject matter expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Provide ERP subject matter expertise andimplementation support for the PeopleSoft Financial Supply Chain ManagementApplication (i.e. design, configure, escalations, troubleshooting, managing userexpectations and delivering processes)

  • Participate in work sessions with Businessteams to assist with the decision making processes

  • Facilitate requirement validation sessions,fit/gap, and construct Data-flow diagrams of processes with members of theproject team(s), and business process owners

  • Translate requirements and business processesinto a PeopleSoft functional and technical design with a focus on leveragingdelivered capabilities and eliminating customization

  • Work on both large and small PeopleSoftdevelopment efforts

  • Document future state business processes andfunctional design. Present designs for review and approval

  • Conduct system and integration testing andsupport user acceptance testing activities

  • Provide functional support in defect resolutionand retesting; identify and resolve Application level issues and risks

  • Create required SDLC project documentation

  • Understand the product features and drive theteams to adopt best practices to improve efficiency in the PeopleSoft processes

  • Assist with PeopleSoft upgrades

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Five (5) years of full-time professional experiencesupporting PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management modules; In-depthknowledge of core PeopleSoft HCM 9.2

  • Two (2) years’ experience programming in SQL orother query tools to perform analysis

  • Experience with UNIX Operating Systems

  • Previous experience with PeopleSoft upgrades andimplementations

  • Experience working on all project phases:Project Preview, Fit/Gap Analysis, Setup and Testing

  • Experience supporting at least one (1)full-life cycle PeopleSoft implementation

  • Experience with PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.5, toinclude but not limited to PeopleCode, Component Interface, SQR, ApplicationEngine programming, App Messaging, App Packages, Integration Broker, Workflow,Events and Notifications

  • In-depth functional understanding withPeopleSoft FSCM Applications, to include but not limited to GL, AP, SupplierContracts Management, ePro, PO, sPro, AR, Billing and Asset Management

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing anddocumenting business requirements, developing process flow diagrams, andcreating functional designs to meet requirements

  • Ability to facilitate understanding of existingand new functionality, identification and resolution for areas where thebusiness process differs from the delivered PeopleSoft 9.2 functionality

  • Experience working in a hosted environment

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to communicate both in writing andorally with all levels of stakeholders

  • Demonstrated experience to manage project scopeand stakeholder expectations

  • Desire to learn new developing technologies inthe Financial Services industry

  • Ability to work with the project team and otherstakeholders to achieve consensus in identifying, determining, and recommendingareas where customizations should be utilized or where customization can beeliminated

  • Ability to manage expectations and/or changingpriorities
