KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Senior Lead Data Steward

Manages the development, implementation and support of business analytics initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identifying, sizing and prioritizing business opportunities for improvement through analytics.

  • Assessing the scope and resources required of various analytics projects and working with management to define necessary resources.

  • Monitoring quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.

  • Oversees the acquisition of data from structured and unstructured sources, while ensuring quality and comprehensiveness of the data.

  • Managing client relations to ensure that expectations for dashboards are managed, and fulfilled.

  • Monitoring and communicating key performance metrics and operational challenges.

As a key representative of the Business Data Management team, the Senior Lead Data Steward is an individual contributor that will partner with business areas to coordinate, implement and oversee the Data Management and Data Governance strategies, policies, and standards to manage the enterprise data asset in a manner that maximizes value to the company. This role is accountable for execution, communication, and adoption within their domains and will work to align critical data and processes across the enterprise. This steward will enable the Data Management & Governance functions and consistently drive these capabilities along with data content management, issue resolution, policies and standards, compliance, and monitoring and reporting functions within their assigned domains.

Required

3+ years Data Governance/Data Stewardship experience

Preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Independent worker

Metadata management tool experience (Ex. IGC, Collibra)

Financial Services experience

Potential Salary: $176,000.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
