TIAA Sr Developer - Identity Access Management in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

POSITION SUMMARY:

TIAA is searching for a motivated, enthusiastic, proactive team player to join the Digital Identity Services team. The team’s mission is to lead and collaborate with project teams on analysis, design, development, and testing of identity and security applications and services, supporting the TIAA enterprise and customer platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Collaborate with IT and business partners todesign, develop, deliver, and support end to end technical solutions

  • Perform engineering, configuration, and codingto documented technical specifications

  • Perform system design and specificationdevelopment, program logic and flow-charting that meets the stated projectobjectives

  • Contribute to design review meetings with othermembers of Application Development

  • Identifies and manages dependencies anddownstream impacts of the project to minimize adverse effects on other projectsand / or programs

  • Test the resulting components in accordance withcompany standards and as defined in approved testing plans

  • Perform maintenance programming and correctionof identified defects

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills:

  • 4 or more years of experience as a softwareengineer/programmer with Java/ J2EE

  • 4 or more years of experience with Identity and AccessManagement products (e.g. SiteMinder, Ping Identity: PingFederate orPingAccess, Transmit Security, Okta, ForgeRock, LDAP, Active Directory)

  • 4 or more years of experience with HTML, CSS,JavaScript

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to threat detection and risk analyticsengines (e.g. RSA, iovation, ThreatMetrix, etc...)

  • Expertise with all aspects of transport asapplied to web and mobile applications (e.g. communication layers, connectionhandling, push notifications, certificates/SSL, PKI on mobile)

  • Understanding of web applications, webapplication frameworks (e.g. AJAX, Angular, Node.js), web APIs (e.g. REST/JSON,XML), web protocols, (e.g. HTTP/S, TLS/SSL, DNS, proxies/caches, firewalls,etc.)

  • Understand and exposure to

  • Strong background of web and mobile applicationdevelopment experience

  • Exposure to cloud technologies

  • Exposure to Agile development methodology

  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix and native mobileoperating systems

  • Exposure with integrating third party mobile/webSDKs

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writtencommunication skills

  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking,prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part ofa team
