TIAA Sr Business Management Specialist, Institutional Relationships in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Business Management Specialist is responsible for supporting project management and analytics for initiatives within the Atlantic South Regional Segment. The position will deliver robust data analytic tools, analysis and aligned reporting to drive management decisions to achieve client goals. The position will work with business partners to leverage best practices and innovations within IR.

The role will influence decisions through analysis, reporting, data lead advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. The position is also responsible for executing on key business strategies and supporting the execution of business strategies that are aligned to the Atlantic South, IR, TFS and TIAA priorities.

A qualified candidate will have strong experience in utilizing data and project management skills to identify business opportunities, and effectively communicating those opportunities with a cost conscious and continuous improvement mindset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly with COO and GMs to deliver on key initiatives for the region

  • Instrumental in developing content for several business/operating routines

  • Territory business performance reviews

  • Quarterly Operating Reviews

  • All Region Calls

  • Success Calls

  • Project manage (under COO’s supervision/direction) initiatives that are key to the success of the region

  • Proactively develop/deliver insightful analytics and ideas to improve region/territory performance

  • Help drive scorecard results through partnership with TGMs

  • Support and participate in Regional Meetings

  • Participate in projects to improve Regional / Territory results

  • Identify improvement opportunities and work with COO and business partners to deliver on these opportunities

  • Build and maintain strong working knowledge of pertinent dashboards and CRMs

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’sdegree

  • Workingknowledge of TIAA along with 3 + yearsof financial services experience

  • 3 +years of experience managing, analyzing and reporting on large quantities ofdata

  • 3 +years of experience working in Project Management, Business Management orsimilar position

  • 2 +years of experience in utilizing PowerPoint to communicate data analysis

Desired Qualifications :

  • Retirement Services experience and familiarity with retirementproducts and services

  • PMP certification

  • SharePoint expertise

  • Ability to understand linkages between divisional strategies, driversand processimprovement programs

  • Familiarity with Tableau and other CRM System such as Salesforce

  • Excellent communication skills, including active listeningskills

  • Analytical thinker and problem solver
