Currently, Nuveen has a Sr. Analyst position open that will support their U.S. Fixed Income Trade Settlements team.Trade data relates to billions of dollars of participant assets that is processed and transmitted on a daily basis. This role ensures that the data is correct with no disputes and the trades are settled in a timely manner to avoid market trading disruptions. In addition, the work is completed within the guidelines that are mandated by each fund and the firm.
This role will be responsible for the confirmation, communication, and settlement of Nuveen’s US Fixed Income trades. This position works closely with Traders, Brokers, and Custodians to ensure trades are recorded accurately, matched against the counterparty’s details, and recorded and settled in a timely manner by the custodian banks.
Ensure receipt ofcounterparty trade confirmations and match these confirmations against Nuveen’strade details Management of mismatched and missing confirmations
Communicate tradeactivity to custodians, fund administrators, and other interested parties
Manage failed trades
Other duties as assignedand required
Three (3) years ofexperience that includes knowledge of the trade lifecycle from execution tosettlement
Demonstratedunderstanding of various Investment Management products such as Pension Funds,Mutual Funds, Separate Accounts, etc.
Experience with industrytrade matching utilities such as DTCC ALERT, CTM, OASYS
Experience with ordermanagement systems such as Bloomberg AIM and Charles River InvestmentManagement Solution
Bachelor's Degree inFinance, Business, Accounting or similar discipline
Experience with SWIFTmessaging and format
Experience withPortfolio Accounting Systems
Ability to communicatein writing and verbally and the ability to facilitate deadlines.
Ability to addressdifficult issues and work under pressure in high stress environments
Strong analytical andquantitative skills with an ability to understand complex workflows
Demonstrated understandingof operational risks and controls
