To deliver communications that have the greatest impact, CS&T Communications needs a highly-skilled and versatile multimedia designer. The role requires a creative and collaborative candidate who is as comfortable working alone as with a team of writers and other colleagues. The ideal applicant is a positive team player who can be flexible when priorities quickly change and who takes direction well, reporting to the Vice President of CS&T Communications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Develops high-quality graphics and visual communications to promote business strategies
Role breakdown: 75%: designing and illustrating icons, banners, infographics, newsletters, presentations, web graphics, quarterly reports, kiosk ads, and other digital and print materials (e.g., posters); 10%: managing email and newsletter distributions; 10%: reporting and administration; 5%: video editing and 2D animation
Creates compelling presentations for the SEVP / Head of CS&T, his directs and other senior leaders
Interfaces with a variety of internal groups, like Corporate Communications, Marketing, Brand, Compliance and Legal
Champions corporate brand guidelines and adheres to legal/compliance processes
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
5 or more years of creative experience with aproven design record
Adobe Creative Suite & MS Office,particularly PowerPoint required
Knowledge of traditional design principles andthe grid system
Ability to solve problems through creativedesign concepts
College or otheraccredited design institute
Basic video editing using Adobe Premiere
Digital illustration skills and sketchingabilities
Poppulo email platform – a plus
HTML knowledge – a plus
Strong organizational and time management skillswith the ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks efficiently
Excellent attention to detail
Customer service, interpersonal, organizationaland time management skills
Project organization, with a focus on detailsand accuracy
Knowledge of the CS&T organization, itsleaders and strategic priorities to effectively capture leaders’ vision andstyle in their communications
Basic understanding of our businesses andproducts
Can interact with a variety of L3-L5stakeholders, serving as the main point of contact to manage creative contentand evolve design strategies
Foster design cohesion of brand standards amonginternal teams and business partners, requiring occasional negotiation skillsand, at all times, a professional demeanor
Perform well in a OneTeam environment
