The Security Technology Engineering team is responsible for collaborating and partnering with various Business Units (BUs) and stakeholders across the organization to manage external and insider threat detection, mitigation, investigation and response efforts across the organization. The Security Technologies Engineering Team will leverage various technical and non-technical datasets for early detection of threats and work closely with affected business units to ensure threat activities are managed effectively and efficiently. The Lead Info Security Engineer will participate in the activities of a small, expert team that develops robust technical solutions and advanced analytics to enable preventive threat detection efforts.


Job Responsibilities include:

•Implement and maintain security solutions supporting the insider threat program.

•Implement monitoring mechanism to ensure availability, integrity and confidentiality of the solutions.

•Participate and contribute in meeting such as Architecture Review Board (ARB), service delivery, weekly team meetings.

•Build and maintain operation and configuration documentation and create and maintain diagrams.

•Work with Cybersecurity risk and security operation team to enhance the security posture.

•Work with vendors to identity new features in the solutions that would automate processes and help in reducing the risk to the enterprise.

•Conducting proactive research to analyses security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies.

•Knowledge and experience with information security controls, infrastructure and implementation techniques.


Required skills

•Bachelor’s Degree

•6 years Cyber Security Engineering experience.

•2 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) or User behavior analysis (UBA) or Endpoint Security, such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools

•Experience with cloud security, cloud provider ecosystems (Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure).

Preferred Skills

•6 years of relevant work experience preferred.

•Certification CISSP, CEH.

•Experience in Financial services industry

•Highly proficient in engineering and debugging of complex IT systems

•Strong expertise with database concepts, and SQL queries/DBMS preferred.

•Expertise in Windows, Linux, Python, and shell scripting preferred.

•Hands-on experience in data mining and log review to identify potential threats preferred.

•Experience with Splunk, ArcSight and/or ELK platform.

•Experience with Networking tools such as Firewall, proxy & tap
