TIAA IT Business Analyst in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Analyst role will work as liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. This role will be supporting our Customer Solutions Technology team in an agile environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Becomesubject matter expert in Regulatory Mailings platform/services

  • RepresentRegulatory Mailings team when new work requests come in

  • Leadhigh-level requirements gathering and strategize with senior technologists

  • Activelyparticipate in software design/grooming sessions

  • Lead/partnerquality assurance efforts - system, integration and user acceptancetesting - to ensure that business requirements are achieved successfully

  • Provideguidance on requirements and user stories when required.

  • Canlead the team and help setup priority when Product Owner is absent.

  • Canlead scrum calls when the Scrum Master is absent.

  • Leadsthe collaboration sessions between business analyst, testing team anddevelopment team to create test scripts for automation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills:

  • 7 or more years of Business Analyst work experience

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum.

  • Experience in designing and documenting system and data flows.

  • Strong data analysis,and process analysis skills

  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills:

  • Elicitand document business, functional and system requirements

  • Experiencedefining structured data or mapping data between systems preferred

  • Excellentcommunication skills -both written & verbal

  • Excellentpartnership skills and ability to develop effective working relationshipswith various people in business, operations and IT development teams

  • Mustbe detail oriented

  • Abilityto multi-task effectively across several projects and assignments

  • Experienceusing requirements management tools such as JIRA, Agile Craft

  • Scrummanagement tools

  • Retirementindustry experience

  • Experienceas a developer would be helpful in this role
