TIAA Home Lending Sales Coach in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina
As a part of TIAA’s Financial Solutions business, TIAA Bank, a division of TIAA, FSB, provides full-service, nationwide banking and lending services to consumer, commercial and institutional clients through a variety of channels, including online, its Florida-based financial centers and at other business offices throughout the country.
The Home Lending Sales Coach will provide key support in coaching and training for Home Lending Sales. This role will be responsible for mentoring, coaching, training and analyzing Loan Officers; specifically tasked with working alongside Loan Officers to provide sales coaching in an effort to increase overall performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also include designing individual and team training courses and preparing educational material.
Prepares new sales representatives byconducting orientation to sales process and developing individual coachingplans
Provides helpful advice on improving jobrelated challenges
Emphasis on conducting side by side coaching toLoan Officers across different channels of Retail Direct Sales and providesdetails summary to leadership
Servesas the subject matter expert in supporting sales staff based on best practicesales techniques
Partnerswith leadership to identify and analyze areas of sales opportunities for productsand/or services in support of business goals; monitors the Loan Officersoverall effectiveness throughout the sales process
Proactivelyreaches out to the sales teams to uncover inefficiencies in navigation throughplatforms and processes with special attention being paid to new associates andhelping them get productive in a timely manner
Regularlyschedules best practices training and workshops
Developsand maintains training materials related to sales initiatives includingpresentations, job aids, participant handouts, virtual class materials, andother resources
Abilityto report and present to management learnings and efficiencies that can begained by working directly with Loan Officers
Attendsinternal and external training courses
Abilitytravel to Retail Direct sales offices around the country
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Familiarity with sales coaching techniques ande-learning platforms
Experience creating training materials andpresentations (i.e. videos or slides)
Excellent communication skills with the abilityto motivate people
Broad knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA/VA, HELOCsand Jumbo products
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Five (5) years of mortgage experience in asales, processing, training, or support capacity
Three (3) years of experience as a MortgageSales Coach, Loan Officer, or similar role
Previousexperience using mortgage origination platforms (Ex. Empower, Encompass, Velocify,Blend)
