As a Technology Associate in the Early Talent Rotational Program , you will have the opportunity to work within 1 of the 4 concentrations and utilize academic knowledge, skills and experience to apply tactics and strategies to solve real business challenges for a mission-driven organization.

The Technology Associate Rotational Program offers you the opportunity to join one of two distinct tracks in order to build a skillset that will transform your technical abilities into a skillset vital to a successful career in financial services technology.
- Analyst Track (Analytics, Systems, Quality, Business, Business Management)
Rotational Associates in this area leverage and further develop their skills in analysis and reporting, working alongside colleagues and Senior Leadership to further TIAA's understanding of structure, policies and to achieve its goals. You will directly contribute to solutions which support sound decision-making. The recommendations you provide will drive achievement of TIAA's technology goals. Rotational Associates responsibilities in this area may include requirements gathering & documentation, financial oversight & control, portfolio management, business performance measurement, process management, and data analysis from various sources .
- Engineer Track (Mobile, Web, Infrastructure, Operations, Cloud, Robotics)
Rotational Associates in this area may design, build and test various software technologies and applications programs which align with TIAA needs. Your skills would further develop as you focus your talents in providing critical support as well as efficiency and automation ideas in hardware, software, data or infrastructure components within a specific domain.
Rotational Associates in this area may also provide support with automation modernization by learning, adopting new tools, and technologies that help applications to scale up. Responsibilities in this area may also include operations support for capture & distribution, processing, quality processes and problem resolution. You would work as part of a project team, communicating progress, technical issue reporting, resolution and deployment to production of completed code.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree
Graduation date between August 2021 and June 2022
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Cyber-Security, Engineering and/or Operations Management, and any other STEM related degree
Python, Java, Angular, Mobile OS, networking, mainframe technologies like COBOL, CICS and MQ)
Microsoft (C#.Net, WPF, WCF, .Net Core)
SQL Server (T-SQL) and Oracle
Batch and Scripting Languages / Tools (PowerShell / python / Unix shell)
Azure Cloud deployments using Azure AD, PowerApps, AI& ML using PowerAutomate, .NET WebApps, Kubernates, Data Bricks, Azure SQL, PostGreSQL and/or MicroServices
AWS Cloud deployments using Athena, QuickSight, Terraform, CloudTrail, Kinesis, Kubernates and Kafka
CI/CD Pipeline using Jenkins and CloudBees
Cyber Security Technical skills:
Data: Tableau, SQL, Robotics, Machine learning
Analyst: Jira, Archer, MS tool Suite
Enterprise Strategy & Data Solutions Technical skills
Experience in Spark (Python, Java, R) in regards to Data
Proficient with Python, SAS, R, or Matlab and working with statistics
Economics, Finance or Accounting Course or highly proficient with Excel
Proficient with SQL
Proficient with Python, Java
Knowledge of Kafka, ETL, or DataStage
Proficient ability to research, process information, document findings and communicate decisions and thoughts
Internship experience is a plus
Desire to continuously learn and stay current with technology trends
Desire to continuously learn and implement professional development skills
Willingness to embrace change and collaborate to foster team success

Potential Salary: $65,500.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
